| Biography: | Skyscan has been involved in aerial and aviation photography since 1984. Initially photographs were taken from the Skyscan (TM) remotely controlled balloon camera platform providing a low level and unusual birds-eye view of a subject. From 1996, Skyscan has also represented other photographers involved in aerial, aviation and aerial sports photography and whose work is now included in the stock images forming the Skyscan Photolibrary. Commissions are undertaken all over the UK and world by photographers using a variety of aerial platforms including masts, helicopters, balloons and planes. A further service is to locate historic aerial imagery of the UK used by clients involved in legal or environmental investigations and this searching service was brought online in May 2008 at www.OldAerialPhotos.com |
