| Biography: | After completing a 3 year Diploma at Bournemouth Arts Institute, I took up professional photography around 1991, the same Year I won the Jane Bown Observer Portrait award. I started my career by regulary working for magazines like You, Sunday Times, BBC Music and The Radio Times photographing many famous British celebrities including Dame Judy Dench, Elton John and both Prince Charles and Princess Diana. I now mostly work with British industry and in the last six months have shot the boards of directors of many of the UK's leading companies including; Cadburys Land Securities Bunzl Whitbread Barclays Bank I've also undertaken major worldwide projects for Wolseley, Balfour Beatty, Diageo, BOC, Aviva and Ernst and Young and have been a key figure in the development of the Lloyds TSB brand development. A recent Annual Report for the Royal College of Pathologists, with a particularly open brief, is also currently an exhibition called Identified and can be seen at www.georgebrooks.net. I have been a member of the Association of Photographers for the last 15 years. |
