Bio & Interests
| Biography: | I've been making photographs since the age of 11 and have made my living from photography (of a variety of disciplines) during a number of periods over the last 35 years. Like a fair few photographers, my photographic education was at the "coal face", working as an assistant for a number of years before branching out on my own. I quickly learnt that, as well as being able to see and create beautiful images, I also needed to understand business methodology. I put myself through college and ended up as a member of the UK Chartered Institute of Marketing. After spending time climbing various greasy corporate poles, I came back to the vocation that gives me greatest pleasure. My current business specialises 50% in contemporary wedding and portraiture, for which I gained my licentiate of the Master Photographers Association this year. Alongside this, the other 50% specialises in architectural/interior work. |
