Bio & Interests
| Biography: | I'm a London based freelance photographer currently specialising in corporate and PR photography. I'm in my early 30's and assisted a number of corporate, advertising, and fashion photographers in London before going it alone. (In a previous life I worked in book publishing). I also set up and run the website Photoassist.co.uk - a database and community of photographic assistants, presently being revamped ready for relaunch in August 2007. When I'm shooting for myself, I enjoy undertaking slightly 'quirky' portrait-based projects (e.g. urban fishermen). I would love to spend more time doing this sort of thing - now I feel I've established myself as a photographer the next phase is to try to work out how to nudge my career in this direction... I'm keen on technology and am particularly interested in the internet as a marketing tool. It has been invaluable in bringing in work to date & I'm watching with interest to see what further opportunities it will present in the coming years. |
