Following 3 years at Trent Polytechnic, I set up straight from college with a modicum of professional experience gleaned from small jobs shot throughout my final year. Initially started as a partnership with a friend of mine, but realised as the UK advertising industry recession bit in the early 1990's, that we could not continue as a two-some. I have been a one-man operation ever since, hiring in freelance assistants as required. I have a 2500 sq ft studio about a mile out from Nottingham's city centre and currently work for Triumph Motorcycles, Yamaha, Pork Farms Bowyers, Paul Smith, Sandtoft Roof Tiles, Williams F1 and various regional design and advertising agencies. I also have successfully moved into retouching and creating imagery from composites for clients, as well as recently installing two high end inkjet printers; one operating as a proofer and one producing large format (up to A1) inkjet prints. |
