Bio & Interests
| Biography: | Left St Martin's School of Art (film & fine art) and worked as a pro-photographer shooting *the next big thing* for various record companies and music press. Motorcycle crash put an end to the fun and I got a *real* job with a pre-press company while my arms were still in plaster :-( Worked with Linotype typesetting kit where I got my first experience with Apple. Also worked with Berthold and Scangraphic kit before setting up my own pre-press business back in 1991. Used Photoshop before it was taken seriously and probably produced the first 48-sheet ad campaigns on the Mac with NewOrder's release of the Republic album back in 1993. Nobody thought it was capable of *real* pre-press work back then. Still an Apple envangelist after all these years :-) Pretty pictures, AppleScript, Photoshop and OS X are my main interests. Working with the OS 10.5 Leopard developer preview at the moment and excited about the 2007 release already. |
