Quite a technical week on the PI list, among the topics discussed were:-
Nasty Little Photoshop Bug: Possibly something that wouldn't effect the majority of us, however a PI member gave an excellent if geeky method of recovering from what could be a major disaster.
Mac and PC together on a Network: Seems to be a problem for one member but as if usually the case help was at hand from the list.
HDD Enclosure: Several recommendations for transferring a drive from a non-working enclosure to a new one came up here. Why is it so difficult to get one with a fan these days?
HDR Advice: How not to make the final image "cartoon like" was the thrust of this topic, successfully answered.
MacBook Superdrive recommendation: Replace the internal or get an external drive, a couple of PI members recommended the external solution.
Pro-Imaging Members on Linkedin: A few PI members are on Linkedin, some find it useful whilst others are still looking for benefits.
Reading List for Digital Photographers: Key Texts for learning Digital Photography, several PI members came up with their own lists, quite a few overlaps, we must all have read the right books then!
