Four Stops Overexposed: How can you rectify an assistant's mistake? There were a few suggestions from member around the World, Why didn't he check the back or histogram? We then learnt about "Chimping"

A member has found problems with using Firewire card readers on his new 24" iMacs. Others tell him it is a known problem with the new machines. 

Heard about "Photographic Opportunities?"  from what a members been offered it appear that you can have the opportunity to take a photograph (without a fee), supply a print (also without a fee), You may ask why? we're told there's a chance of selling another print or "making contacts for business"  Must try this next time I'm out shopping. 

There are a few PI members selling Prints and the question as what is a Limited Edition has been discussed. Can you have different sizes, how big should the edition be?. The thread moved on to discussing whether one sale at a big price or lots at a lower price was the direction to go. 

Permit to shoot on NY Street. Do you need one? only if you look professional or use a tripod seems to be the answer. 

Spider Awards. Should you pay to enter a Photo Competition? Members opinions vary here, Some see it as a Money Making Rights Grab, others as a way to promote yourself, the latter work in the Advertising/Design Field.

Finally we held the first all day member's meeting which took place at a studio in the UK.   Subjects discusssed ranged from how to benefit from grants available for equipment purchase, to the implications of charging clients for image storage, marketing methods, and project case histories were presented and much more.   A similar meeting is planned for the early part of 2008, again in the UK.
