Copyright and Image Usage. This thread covered the usage of images featuring performers taken at a Concert Venue. There was discussion ranging from should one allow the venue some free usage in return for otherwise unobtainable access through to links with a Music Photographers Forum.
Some of the Mac users discussed the advantages and disadvantages of using iWork, Open Office or MS Office. Open Office and iWork had their enthusiasts and the consensus was that both have no problems with Word and Excel files. We also have an iWork evangelist.
Keywording. Often a problem for the visually minded, a few excellent links were passed on.
A thread was started on the new Phase One MF Camera based on the Mamiya AFD 645 moving on to it's competitors and problems with wide angle lenses, sliding backs and focusing problems on view cameras with digi backs. Interesting comments from some high end users.
No Spec. A link was given to this site campaigning against Speculative Work or to describe it honestly, Working for Free. Not a good idea for any professional and a pity to discover that even College Lecturers think that it's a way to "improve your CV" and "get you noticed" contributed by David Williams
