Bill of Rights Condition 1

Photographer must be given a Credit for all Free Usage

Typically in any competition the organisers and supporting partners will claim the right to free reproduction of submitted images in order to promote the contest.

Organisers/sponsors need those rights and The Bill of Rights permits this free usage subject to certain conditions. One of those conditions is that the photographer is always credited on each occasion the image is freely reproduced to promote the contest.  This requirement is stipulated in Bill of Rights Condition 1.

Contests which do not have a statement clearly stating that credits will always be given for free usage to promote the contest fail this Bill of Rights test and cannot be rcommended by Pro-Imaging.
