The ECI have released new colour profiles that you can download from here.

We will be using the new ISO Coated v2 (ECI) profile from today.

As usual, the profile was created using Heidelberg PrintOpen and the settings were as follows:

Black length: 9 (starting point 10%)
Black width: 10
Total dot area: 330%
Maximum Black: 95%

The Lab plots below compare the new profile with the ghosted outline of the old ISO Coated profile. The plot of the new profile looks as if it has been pulled upwards to provide better highlights. You can also see that there is a significant change in blue.
