Weekly discussion digest 21st July |
|
A busy week with lots of traffic, starting with a technical discussion on how to present time lapse photography, with answers based on most of the motion content editing platforms. The next techie discussion involved clipping paths and whether or not the mass of Indian based companies offering services can be trusted to provide quality work, or are traditional UK based companies preferable?
More technical discussions involved how to record sound on a Mac and whether it's a good idea to power a MacBook Pro from a car power inverter, should it simply be used to charge on standby?
Indeed, technicalities were the main discussions this week. Other things that needed thrashing out included the strange behaviour of NiMH camera and flash batteries and the strange subject of image creators playing with audio once again came up, as we talked about ways to digitise old micro cassette tapes onto hard drives.
