Adobe Photographers Directory
Everything you need to know about Adobe Photographers Directory and Pro Imaging

Adobe Photographers Directory Application Process

Adobe Photographers Directory is a international portfolio website created by Adobe and accessible directly through Adobe Bridge. It promotes commissioned photography and goes a small way to answer criticism of Adobe's policy of having RF images available from Adobe Stock.
Look at Adobe Photographers Directory for more details.

How it works.

  1. On receipt of payment your code will be issued. The annual membership fee of the Pro Imaging APD access is £25.  To use the scheme you must have paid your annual membership fee. That means an annual total of £55 or equivalent in your local currency. The subscription year runs from April 1st.

Payment is made by clicking the link here .

  2. Member signs up at the APD website and uploads their chosen images and business details.

  3. APD confirm acceptance of submission via email directly to the applicant.

  4. If at any time you no longer wish to continue as a member of the scheme, you agree to remove all material and withdraw your membership details.

Notes:

We would respectfully remind everyone placing material in the APD scheme, to carefully consider if the images they have chosen reflect the high standard associated with membership of PI.  If in any doubt the team will be happy to offer advise.

We realise APD is not for everyone and probably of little use for social photographers.

Your APD portfolio can be changed at any time.

This is the link to the application form. The Pro Imaging APD Application Form

Notes on signing up at the APD portal:

Go to:

Adobe Photographers' Directory

Click on

"Become a member"

At this time there is an irritating survey redirect going on. I had to revisit the main page several times to stop the redirect starting.

Use your access code that has been issued to you in the

"Authentication code" box

"Association issued" is

"PRO"

Follow the onscreen instructions. Upload your images as sRGB jpegs of a size no bigger than 260 pixels. Its seems that you need to use images of 260 pixels square. If your image is not square it may be elongated. Experience of this varies but the consensus is that the safest bet is to put any rectangular images in a white box of 260 x 260 pixels.
