The Crown Estate and Pro-Imaging reach Agreement

“What’s Great about Britain” Photo Contest

The Crown Estate and Pro-Imaging reached agreement today with regard to the rules of the contest “What’s Great about Britain”. Following discussions between the two organisations, contest rules that had been the cause of some concern have now been clarified to the extent that all the original concerns have been resolved.  In reaching this position Pro-Imaging accepted that the Regent Street Festival and the “What’s Great about Britain” contest were to be treated as interlinked.

The competition rules now meet all the requirements of the Bill of Rights and Pro-Imaging will be promoting “What’s Great About Britain” on its list of recommended contests, the “Rights On List”. Pro-Imaging is pleased to have reached agreement with The Crown Estate and are assured that The Crown Estate always respect the rights of photographers.

The new report on the contest can be viewed here.
