Judges - The judges will be announced prior to the deadline for the Photo Award competition. The jury is selected by The Photo Award. The competition website currently states the following about the jury process.

"There is a pre-jury and a final jury. The pre jury contains three members with a high photoknowledge. The pre-jury will narrow down the pictures to a suitable number. The final jury will choose the winning pictures. The final jury has the right to look at pictures that the pre-jury rejected.

The final jury consists of five members with widely divergent backgrounds. We seek members from picture editors, photographers and representatives of press agencies from different parts of the world.
