Pro Imaging launched in 2004 as the result of three photographers strong belief in a simple need.  A self-support group for full time professional photographers, willing to help each other solve every problem and question involved in the running of a professional photography business, regardless of it being digital or film based.  Four years on and with a membership extending to more than thirty countries, we have broadened out and now offer members much more.  More information on the history of Pro Imaging and why it came into being can be found here.

What's on offer?

The active promotion of members to potential clients through the member's gallery by an ongoing advertising campaign.  Each member has the opportunity of having their own gallery page or pages showcasing their work.

A private and secure e-mail discussion list where we discuss every aspect and problem to do with the running of a photography business in almost real time 24/7.   Members range from top flight internationally known photographers, to studio owners employing dozens of staff, right through to the sole general practitioner.   We all have one thing in common, the desire to help each other in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

Entry into the Adobe Photographers Directory for world-wide exposure.

Membership of a group committed to slowing down Royalty Free image sales amongst other things   We strongly believe that RF has, and is doing huge damage to the earnings and perception of the value of professional photography.   You may only apply for membership if you are prepared to NOT add additional RF images if you are at present supplying images in this way.  However we would far prefer that you curtail all RF activities for the good of the profession.

Pro Imaging fights on behalf of the members interests and already has had a number of notable successes.
