The Bill of Rights for Photography Competitions LogoThe Bill of Rights logo is shown below - The logo has been designed such that it can be used by all the creative disciplines, such as writers, musicians, painters, etc. All creative disciplines suffer abuses of their rights and so the new logo incorporates the word 'Artists' in order that it can be inclusive. However each artistic discipline has particular circumstances that apply to it that may not apply in general. It is envisaged therefore that each artistic discipline will draft a Bill of Rights to meet their specific needs. The logo can be used by all disciplines with only the icon on the left of the logo indicating the specific creative discipline concerned. In the case of photographers this is a camera. For musicians it could be a musical note or other musical symbol, for writers a pen, for painters an easel and brush, and so on.
Usage of the Bill of Rights LogoThe new logo can only be used by organisations that have agreed to be Bill of Rights Supporters thereby declaring that they will neither organise nor sponsor contests that do not comply with the standards set out in the Bill of Rights. If you find an organisation using the logo to promote themselves and their contest and they are not on the Bill of Rights Supporters List please contact us to tell us about this.
An Individual Supporters LogoMany people, photographers, both professional and amateur, and members of the public, support the aims of our Bill of Rights for Photography Competitions. To enable them to declare their support we have devised a Bill of Rights Logo for individuals to freely use on their own website. Feel free to use this logo on your website and we would be grateful if you would link it to the Bill of Rights for Photography Competitions. Noted below is the url link to use - http://www.pro-imaging.org/content/view/177/156 If you would like a higher resolution version please use our contact form to make your request.
Logos in Other LanguagesWe received a request from VeloFest in Macedonia for a version of the Bill of Rights Supporters Logo but in their own language. We are grateful to Bojan Rantaša of VeloFest who kindly supplied the translation to enable a Macedonian version of the logo to be made. You can see it below and we hope to add versions of the logo in other languages. Perhaps you, the reader, might like to offer the appropriate text in your language for the Bill of Rights Logo.
