Apple Speakers: We found not only Photographers but Audiophiles to be amongst the PI Membership.
Bootable Mac External Drive: A query as to whether a Mac could be booted from an external USB drive as well as firewire drives was answered by a couple of PI Members who reported their success.
Things are tight: This wide ranging thread included a discussion of a photographer's responsibility for their images, and whether Codes of Conduct have any point when everybody thinks they are a photographer. Ethical considerations in regard to retouching through to using friends rather than professionals to take your Wedding Photographs also featured in the discussions. No shortage of opinions on the PI List.
Pro Landscape Flickr Group: A PI Member has recently set up a Flickr Group devoted to Professional Landscape Photography (HDR Banned). His initial posting inviting others to join moved on to a discussion of Flickr's terms, Orphan Works and new ways of marketing yourself and your images, whether print sales or commissions.
This is the future: CGI has taken over a lot of Car Photography over the last couple of years, now it's moving in to Room Set Work. CGI is becoming disturbingly good now.
Tripod Head for Travelling: Members discussed their preferred kit, some that they were very happy with, others that they put up with and even a totally different approach to mounting a camera in a difficult place.
