Why Hasselblad U.K no longer show at the Focus exhibition preferring to
spend the money on a road show.   Seems that this comes with strings
attached and some members found plenty to get upset about.  

A member is looking for a retired Hasselblad to demonstrate all the mysteries of
film shooting, processing and printing to students.

US Post Deliveries was of concern to a member based out of the US.  One of
our US members found out the necessary in double quick time.

Who Is Stripping Your Metadata?  David Riecks has been conducting via his
Controlled Vocabulary group a survey to identify which organisations are
stripping metadata and Pro Imaging is delighted to support his efforts.

High Speed Video Capture on a tight budget?  During the discussion we learnt
more about Quartz Composer which is a Mac application.

We were alerted to an interesting extension viewing screen that fits a number
of digital cameras and allows for off camera viewing on the move.

Canon EF 15mm F2.8 Fisheye Lens anyone got one to spare?

What's the future of Mac OS X?  An interesting question.

Insurance comes up every few months and this one was from the UK. As usual
several useful suggestions...who to consider and who to avoid.

Keeping the water out of DSLR cameras.  Some very workable and cheap DIY
solutions offered together with some more professional and costly solutions.

We had a thread about printing problems with multi-page MS Excel documents.

An LA Photographer is in Jail - how should we help?  Some felt that he brought
it on himself!

How using cheap stock photos can get a client in trouble.....when some clients
get cheapskate and use RF they risk getting egg on their faces.  We discussed
the growing number of cases where clients make themselves look foolish.

Advise on a good film processing lab in the UK

A member in New Zealand was looking for some guidance with regard to
reproduction fees.

Data storage was a concern of a member in Dubai who had noticed that some
material had gone missing from is automated back-ups.
