The New Site enables members to upload pictures to their own Galleries, there's been a lot of discussion about how to do this together with the advantages of another place to show your work. Lots of encouragement from the early users to those a little slower. To convince us a member has directed a prospective client to his gallery and secured the job.

A member is considering making Panoramic Images of Commercial Buildings, then offering them to the owners as large prints. In running this past the group several suggestions based on current experiences came up

Where's that preference gone! When an unexpected profile appears in your D2X Raw files how do you get back to the one you want. Help within hours and an explanation of why you don't need to worry about it,

Image security. When your work is up on the Web is there any way you can prevent it being grabbed and used elsewhere. The experts seem to thing not, when it's on a screen it can be captured whether you've tried to make it difficult or not. The Thread moved on to a members explanation of how he tracks down image infringements and collects the fees

Image Theft. A thread on a similar subject covered what to do if one of your pictures appears in a book, credited to the author, who'd previously said that they wouldn't use the picture as you wanted a fee! Advice from members who've come across this before

Weird Problem with XP Pro, this thread got very techie, especially for a mac user, a lot of advice and links to favourite utility programmes have been suggested

Wish List, the perfect location case for laptop, memory cards etc, that usably easily and quickly whilst out on location. A couple of members are at the early stages of designing and making a prototype

Amongst the topics we also discussed were, Adobe GoLive, Canon IS lenses, setting camera profiles with Raw Files, the Gamut of HP Vivera inks,iView/Lightroom, not forgetting how to get that '60's Lava Lamp theme for your wife's "significant" birthday party.
