Plenty of variety this week as usual starting off with a discussion as to what rugged external backup drive ...not made by LaCie to purchase. Various tales of woe of what to avoid. A small but detailed image database for Mac users was wanted. Several suggestions were offered. All photographers rely on their eyes and so when a member wanted some advise about laser eye surgery there were several members who could offer first hand advise. One member had a brother who was directly involved in eye surgery so had some invaluable guidance.
Advise was sought for a picture library that specialises in underwater photography.
We discussed a short movie shot with a Canon 5D MKII digital camera. Quite amazing sound and picture quality, where is it all going?
