The week contained rather a wide variety of discussions, a few of which were:
Response to USCO: As a Group, Pro-Imaging agreed a response to the US Copyright Office’s questions to Visual Artists. PI members are convinced of the need to stand up for our rights on how our work, both commercial and personal are used.
New Tubes for Viewing Lights: Members discussed the new specifications for viewing tubes and proofing papers including what steps to take now.
Video LUTs: As many PI members are including Video Production in their skill set the issue of colour management becomes important. A very different approach than from stills is needed, however a selection of useful links were shared.
GoPro to enter video stock: The action camera maker is ready to enter the stock footage market, could be using up the outakes?
Before Photoshop: Prompted by a viral video on typesetting with Letraset, some of the possibly older PI members shared few reminiscences.
