Now that summer appears to finally be here please see below a review of over 100 postings on the PI list in the last week:
As is customary it’s time for all PI members to pay their annual subscriptions of a measly £35.00, the bargain of the year on the information super highway for professional photographers.
Information was supplied regarding using Canon cleaning wipes to solve a problem.
Secrets of U.S. Keyboards were also explained by another member.
On the subject of copyright theft a website was suggested for finding and fighting image theft.
Equipment and public liability insurance is always an useful subject and there were several suggestions for UK insurance companies catering for professional photographers.
After solving a contacts problem on a Canon camera we had a member having difficulties with a Go Pro.
Then onto a post from a member who specialises in X-rite matters.
A series of images of Indian village girls was picked out as being well worth seeing.
Instructions on a clean install on a Mac was sought by one member and of course there were several very helpful suggestions which were gratefully received.
Richard Prince was mentioned again, the image thief, with some news on how one should protect ones copyright from such abhorrent people.
The next topic raised was someone searching for an articulated Big Ben which when I first clocked it gave me a surprise but all was explained!
An interesting article was posted telling of Sony’s record growth in the mirror-less market, is it good-bye SLR or just another sales rumour?
Also there was a lot of discussion about files sizes which as everyone knows get larger and larger, and some say without need.
So another week of useful discussions on PI comes to an end. Enjoy the sunshine while you can!
