An unusually quiet week on the PI email list, with less than 50 emails
asking for and receiving help.
British Airways’ new photographic competition and its outrageous terms
and conditions generated much comment, and the support of our sister
organisation the ‘rights off’ campaign.
The UK’s national photography show is drawing near, and plans were made
for a meet up of members keen to put a face to an electronic signature.
Thoughts on the best thunderbolt hard drive enclosure morphed into the
advantages of USB3 vs thunderbolt, a discussion I can see continuing for a
while yet!
And a warning on a member’s recently upgraded Mac was dismissed as
unimportant by several members with comments that it always happened
on their machines too, and was just one of those things that apple do
differently!
Lastly, a request for a production house located near an obscure part of
rural England (I can say that as I grew up there!) was met with a quick and
successful response – as is normal for most requests here on PI.
