The first email this week was regarding perfection in image quality where usage can be wrong , or simply bad for the high quality images we all try to produce. After that the subject of dodgy emails came up again, and we all wonder why our time must be wasted by such crap!
Shock horror retouching scandals was the next topic of conversation, specifically about retouching children’s images in and for schools or for parents. A lively topic with several viewpoints.
News of an Adobe Lightroom update was broadcast and following that was a valuable discussion of “Accessing files on the go” . This was followed by some posts on unlicensed usage of images and the possibilities of retribution, financial of course!
This was also highlighted in a “free” website giving away images.
One of our members was having printing problems and answers were forthcoming from several sources. We’ve all been there and know the frustration and panic as a deadline looms!
The next series of topics were related to publishing books, portfolios on ipads, and issues with “notes” on Macs and also info on Yosemite downloads.
A members PC had bleeping problems when turned off , not censorship may I add, several suggestions were offered for solutions to this strange occurrence.
